Welcome to the Ready Art Forums

This is an Adult Forum and you MUST be 18+ to be here!

Members found to be under this age will be removed. Please understand that there are many responsibilities which come with NSFW art and adult servers. This isn’t a personal thing, it’s for your protection as well as ours.

Please refrain from:
- Religion
- Politics
- Racism
- Roleplaying/ 'Excessive arousement' in posts, messages or chat
- Harassment, sexual or otherwise, this INCLUDES private messaging people on this server
- Self promoting, crowdfunding and "selling things" in general
- Unbidden requests for art (please contact me via direct message for that)
- Drama or depressing life stories

Generally, just be nice and get along with the other people here

Use Common Sense Not everything is allowed just because it isn't explicitly listed in the rules.

If you are commenting or replying, be constructive and helpful. This doesn’t mean you have to love everything or endlessly praise the art. It does mean you should be civil and respectful to others who come here. This is not a subReddit for snide humor nor an anonymous posting board where you can act with impunity. Just enjoy the Discord and keep your feedback civil in tone. I can’t be any clearer. I also can’t offer civility lessons if you don’t know what all this means. For me, it means I will have an active approach moderating comments and users in the chat.

Avoid Arguments or Discussions in Bad Faith - this includes attacking opinions, deliberate obtuseness, avoiding or ignoring facts and generally assuming the worst. We are friends here and there is no reason to treat people otherwise.

Breaking the rules will get you a warning and if you continue you will be banned. - Insta-Bans can happen too.

Rules when posting non-Ready Art commissions, art or other creative work outside my own. - Please source any art or creative works to the original creator or commissioner if possible.

- Please no child or underage porn/lewds.
- Please no gore, vore, rape, bestiality, death, explicit violence or other extremes.
- No posting of paid content (i.e. not publicly available, paywall blocked, etc)
- If you have any questions about whether or not something might be crossing the line – ask a moderator or Ready first before posting.

Guides for Contacting me, Notes about Alt User names and more
1. If you contact me, please be upfront if we have spoken prior on any other site or via any other means.
I ask people who contact me directly (or indirectly in some cases) clearly state up front if we have spoke in the past. Depending on the situation this might apply to regular comments (see point 2). I'm not asking for real world identities but I want to know if we have had past communications. Seriously people, this is a GIANT TIME SAVER and polite etiquette. This can be prior communication via my main site, my deviantArt, Patreon or any form of communication really. There is no reason you can't say "Hey, I'm so-and-so using this-other-name from this-other-website" when you talk with me. I'm all for your well-deserved privacy but I've had several repeat conversations and requests from people under various names that ultimately ended up wasting everyone's time. Not to mention I've had a few unsavory users use new accounts to try to influence things on the Patreon and Discord.

2. Hiding or otherwise not disclosing previous engagements/conversations/bans especially if you are looking to avoid a ban or other punishment risks a second ban and further punishment.
It's not worth it, you're not helping your case. I might not find you right away but why risk it? Apologies in stating the obvious but as we grow, I have had to deal with more and more people who are tempted to engage in new identities in order to avoid punishments or ramifications of past behaviors. Most people don't fall in this category but I feel the need to put this out there for those edge cases who may or may not trickle in. Thank you so much for your understanding. As I mention - I want us to always be on even footing when communicating.

3. Please no Private Messages unless it is an emergency or urgent. If you want to talk about things like commissions, rates and have specific questions - please mail me at granitelog(at)hotmail(dot)com If you have a question for me you don't mind asking in public then please use the Questions for Ready forum. This is by far the best and my preferred way to discuss things like this!

Thank you!
