The Work in Progress gallery is a special reward meant for patrons, longtime comic friends and fans. It’s also a way to get a look at upcoming art. I want to make a few things clear about what you should and should not expect when you are browsing it.
How to get Access and Overview
- Right off the bat – please know that ALL the art in the WIP Gallery will eventually be available for FREE! The art will proceed from WIP Gallery > Patreon Gallery > Free Gallery
- Currently the only way to get access is to be a current patron OR have a $12 TOTAL lifetime donation to my Patreon (Ready Art Patreon Page). The amount is not meant as a barrier but a reward for those who have supported my efforts to bring EVERYONE more art and animation. That said, I appreciate ALL my friends and fans, paying or not.
What to Expect
- There is NO SET SCHEDULE OR TIME TABLE for updating the galleries! Please don’t expect me to update every time I edit any page across all those pages. I will likely do high level updates if a book changes significantly but don’t look for a constant stream of edits.
- Please do not ask me about when new pages or albums will be uploaded. This is a new thing for me folks and I’m doing it as a fun nod for interested people. Since this is outside the norm for my Patreon and Main Site I am not keeping a schedule.
- The intent of the gallery is strictly for fun.
- Since my comic work is so far ahead of the release schedule it’s possible the WIP Galleries will not see significant uploads or change for many months – perhaps half a year or MORE.
- Expect incomplete, illegible and rough pages! These are all WIP and are subject to change before final release (though most might not change at all except to be lettered)
- Overall – I am not looking to use the WIP gallery as “proofreading” or “error catching” service. Additionally, it’s not about early “critiquing” the art, story or characters. Just enjoy the art!
- There may be some “off beat” pages (ie minor body horror). I will not be putting warnings on anything so just understand what you are getting into!
- The Galleries contain roughly TWO THOUSAND or so comic pages at any given time
- Please understand I won’t be able to answer questions about every story development, character or story beat presented. Some of the work gets adjustments before final release and it’s based on a lot of factors I can’t predict presently.
- Related to the above – THINGS CAN AND WILL CHANGE! These comics aren’t perfectly set in stone and there might be edits, color additions or any number of things happening between now and release.
- I do plan on rolling the FINAL comic pages right into these galleries and moving them into the Patreon and Public spaces when the final images are done.
- The WIP galleries is an idea being workshopped with you! The delivery and presentation might change.
- There are no planned high res comic download packs or PDFs of any or this WIP art. For the most part – this is the ONLY place to see these comics.
Commenting on the Photos
- Feel free to comment as you like on the photos and I will do my best to reply to everyone.
- I am an ACTIVE moderator and reserve the right to remove posts that don’t cooperate in the spirit of my sites (see rules post here)
- In general, be civil and we should be good.
