Folks, thank YOU so much for the suggestions and ideas. We had nearly 50 ideas and ALL of them were awesome. It was tough to narrow it down and please know even if your ideas weren’t chosen that is not a knock on the lady or you!
I ultimately went with four characters I felt would be a fun pick for everyone here. Samus, Chun-lI, Tracer and Mikasa are all fairly well known and have been suggested in prior comic contests. Also, they have great costumes and should be fun to animate.
The ROUGH Plan at the moment
OK, the idea is all four will get a sequence with a bunch of shots, closeups and the like. I’m still workshopping how all this will go so bear with me. I don’t have an exactly shot count or if they will all be given exactly the same amount of ‘animation’ time. It will mostly come down to how each sequence flows when I get to it.
I’d also like to have some establishing moment for each to setup the situation. Beyond that, I would ALSO like to get each character a ‘bonus’ scene(s) – IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN, if you catch my drift, if you understand the hint! haha
I’ll keep YOU posted with previews as we go and the final will be up on the 30th of December.
